It captures the spirit of the old adage, “absence makes the heart grow fonder.” Though separated by an ocean, the voice of the song dreams of crossing land and sea, flowing like a river, braving the tides to be reunited with a distant love. Doubts may arise, but ultimately there is a quiet, steady resolve to make the journey.

The stunning contributions from Severn Duo on violin and cello beautifully lift the track, which has been lovingly mixed and mastered by the brilliant James Bragg.
